Imo NANTMP Executives Inaugurated
The Executives of National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners NANTMP, Owerri North chapter were inaugurated over the weekend at the Imo International Conference Center IICC, Owerri, the Imo state capital.
Speaking at the well attended event, the chairman of the occasion and commissioner of Labour, Employment and Productivity, Chief Ford Ozumba charged the executives of NANTMP to ensure that the branch practices based on international best standard. He enumerated some of the importance of traditional medicine, noting that it is an avenue to provide jobs for the teeming unemployed youths.
The dynamic and purposeful Labour, Employment and Productivity commissioner used the opportunity to thank the executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for his visionary leadership in the state anchored on the 3R mantra of his administration. He commended Uzodimma for providing the enabling atmosphere for jobs to be created and pledged to continue to collaborate with the relevant agencies to ensure no sector under his ministry lacks behind.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of Owerri North NANTMP, Chief John Wike, congratulated the executives on their successful inauguration. He reminded them that the task before them is a herculean one that demands dedication, discipline and selfless service. He enjoined his colleagues to be ready to do whatever is needed to uplift the organization.
Present at the event included Hon Chidi Onyebuchi, Special Adviser on Skills Acquisition to the Imo state Governor and Mrs Josephine Nnoham , Special Adviser on women development to imo state Governor
