Ikenegbu holds Christmas Concert
Ikenegbu layout, one of the most popular streets in Owerri, the Imo State Capital held her Annual Christmas Concert organized by the residents of the street yesterday, 22nd of December, 2021. This year's Christmas Concert is the 10th edition.
This year's edition came with a lot of pop, glamour, glitz, flamboyance, gaudiness as the famous event clocked 10.
Speaking to Imoflash correspondent, the Chief Organizer of the 10th Ikenegbu Christmas Concert, Mr Ebube said that "Ikenegbu Concert started as a neighborhood Get-Together, before it grew to a proper concert which has featured many celebrities like Sky B.
Mr Ebube stated that this year's event has a cultural flair and urged the guests to enjoy the sweetness of African cultural music on display.
The event did not disappoint fun seekers, residents and guests as various performances were on show, from comedians, to creative dancers to musicians, it was indeed a memorable day for all.
Speaking with Mr 2k, one of the organizers, he said "I am feeling so overwhelmed to be here tonight, the Ikenegbu Concert has been here for years now and it's experiencing it's 10th edition today. It's a get together event which brings people together and also promote peace and unity.
Mc Zuby, one of the performing artists of the night, expressed how excited he was to be part of the event. He said Ikenegbu Concert is one of the best Christmas festival hosted in Owerri, Imo State
