Hon Eric Uwakwe wins Double awards at HNEMC End of the year Party.
The Special Adviser to the Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, on Youths Affairs, Hon. Eric Uwakwe on Thursday, 30th of December 2021 bagged two awards at the Hope New and Electronic Media Center 2021 End of the Year Party, organized by the office of the Special Adviser to the Imo state Governor on New and Electronic Media.
Hon Eric Uwakwe received the Most New Media Friendly Government Appointee 2021 award and the Most Active Government Appointee 2021 award. The awards were voted by Imolites worldwide and ably coordinated by the New Media Center, had other awards given to deserving members of the team and the 3R administration in general.
The event which held at the Imo State Data Management Center, Government House, Owerri had in attendance joyous/ visibly excited members of the HNEMC from across the state who gathered to thank God for the success of the outgoing year and pray for a better year ahead.
Speaking to Imoflash correspondent after receiving the awards, an elated Eric Uwakwe said he felt ' Super Excited' about the awards and thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma for giving the youths the opportunity to serve in his administration, he promised to do more for the many industrious youthful population of the state.
"I feel super excited today that the office of the Governor on New Media deemed it fit to acknowledge me with these wonderful awards, It is an honour to me personally, that our Government is not just recognizing hard work but also promoting it, I am glad that I am chosen amongst the many great men and women working for the administration of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, I feel very encouraged". Hon Uwakwe said.
He went ahead to dedicate the awards to the great Youths of Imo state for their support, noting that without them, his office couldn't have gotten to the point where it is now.
When asked what to expect from his office as we head to a new year, Hon. Eric said "The new year will bring a lot of empowerment program for the youths, we will run a Skill- Based Economy, we will ensure that more jobs are created for our Youths".
He declared 2022 the Year of The Imo Youths.
Earlier in the occasion, the Special Adviser to the Governor on New and Electronic Media, Hon Nneamaka Okafor thanked all her team members for their astute and unflinching support despite the daunting challenges faced in the job. She praised them for believing and fully supportive of the administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Hon Okafor thanked Her Excellency, the wife of the Governor, Barr. Mrs Chioma Uzodimma for ever being there for the HNEMC .
Highpoint of the get-together was the distribution of rice gifts to the various Local Government Area coordinators of the HNEMC.
