Global Surveyors Day: Engr. Francis Chukwu salutes Imo Surveyors
Engr. Francis Chukwu, the Special Adviser to the Imo state Governor and General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority OCDA, has felicitated with Surveyors in Imo State and indeed worldwide as they celebrate this year's Global Surveyors Day on March 21.
In a statement personally signed by him, Chukwu used the opportunity to appreciate the importance of their job and ask the general public to endeavour to encourage Surveyors in our midst for the roles the play in developmental activities in the society.
He said "Today March 21 is designated as Global Surveyors Day. It is a day set aside to highlight the importance of Surveyors, their job and the field in which they carry out their jobs. Global Surveyors Day provides us an ample opportunity to appreciate our Surveyors and the fundamental work they carryout as ground breakers all over the world.
"It is pertinent for the world to know and recognize the work which Surveyors do just as it is essential to also be acquainted with the impact the various kinds of Surveyors can have all over the world. Therefore, let us endeavour to encourage Surveyors in our midst for the roles the play in developmental activities in the society.
"On this premise, I, Engr. Francis Chukwu the General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) on behalf of my family, the Management and Staff of the Authority, felicitate with all the Surveyors working with OCDA as well as all the Surveyors in Imo State on the 2022 edition of Global Surveyors Day marked today the 21 of March, 2022".
