NNL 2022: Campos will Bounce Back- Osuji Patrick
..... Solicits support from Stakeholders and Government
Newly promoted Nigeria National League side, Campos FC of Owerri, are aiming to secure their first win when Osun United comes visiting in their next league game.
The energetic and vibrant young team, headed by its founder and CEO, Osuji Patrick Ikechukwu, said that his lads suffered defeat in their first game due to logistics issues and inexperience.
He said "The game we played with Gateway was our first outing in the NNL but it's not an excuse. We had a very stressful journey no thanks to issues with logistics.
"When we went into the game, the players were jittery and we conceded early and had a red card. Our team didn't do well. We are coming back with a good football."
He, however, appealed with Imolites to come out en-mass and cheer the team to victory, while hoping that stakeholders and government will extend their hands of fellowship by supporting the new bees.
"We are calling on Imolites to troupe out en-mass and support us. In our next game with Osun United, we need fans to come and cheer us up.
"Campos is a private and new team. They need to come and support us so that we can start our first winning campaign
"At the moment the government is a process because we have discussed with them and they have shown interest that they will support but we know they will something.
"Why we have to take gate fees is to support us and sort out some bills. If we can have the gate fee at 200, you are supporting Campos."
