The gaffer who was at the dugout of the Heartland Queens of Owerri at the beginning of the 2023 Nigeria Women Football League Season has declared that his intention is to return the Asaba based club to the Professional Cadre of the league at the end of the season.

He said that the management of the club has promised to give him all the support to ensure that he achieve this set target.

Having started there NLO campaign in their bid to upgrade to the next league level by the end of the season, their efforts seemed to be facing heavy challenges from Delta State FA as there seems to be intentional acts aimed at frustrating their efforts.

Nwoke is therefore calling on the NLO organizers to take a critical look at Delta state FA in order to reduce the level of abnormalities facing the league. Speaking on his Move from Heartland Queens to Apex krane, Nwoke said

“As a coach It is important to always get busy irrespective of the league involved, grooming players and preparing them for the future. As for me, I am fit to coach anywhere.

I have been in Heartland FC for seven years and I have stayed with HeartlandQueens for six months, Now I am with Apex Krane. I also have one or two clubs in the premiership knocking. “

When asked of a possible return to Imo state as a coach, he replied ;

“I am a coach and I am from Imo state. Honourable Dan Ogu former Imo state commissioner for sports knows what I have in me, giving me that opportunity. moving me from Heartland FC to Heartland queens, they saw what happened.

I believe in time to come some other people who know the charisma I have and what I can do will eventually call upon me and if they do, I will definitely answer.

It is my state and I will not hesitate to work for them” Nwoke said.

Nwoke is barely two months with Apex krane since after his unveiling, speaking on the quality of his squad, experiences and challenges so far, he told YSFON sports newspaper

“I believe in the quality of the players i have and we have what it takes to go to the NNL come next season but the challenges we are facing here is political.

We have not been able to get it right especially in officiating, The officiating here in Delta State is nothing to write home about, and i will say it without fear or favour, especially one Mr Mike and coach white.

He said he is angry that the commissioner of sports in Delta state, Okowa sacked him from Delta queens so anything that concerns Okowa, he will never allow that club succeed, they have been putting hot air on Apex Krane fc. Delta FA is not getting it right.

I know apex krane has what it takes to move to the NNL and we will do our best.

The players are doing well. The management good but the organizers here are getting it wrong, they are choosing sides.

So many teams are being walked over today. Not that the teams are not on ground , things are not being done well here. I want the organizers of the NLO to check what is happening in Delta State FA.

Every job has a challenge, I am just three weeks to one month old here trying to groom the team in two weeks, facing this crucial fixtures has not been easy, you know it's a team that plays football not individual, no individual make up a team, football is being played by a team or group.

In time to come we will have a good team, the challenges is always there trying to pair, getting it right, scoring goals and defending when you score.

But i am positive that all this big challenges will soon be over.

I want to appreciate my fans out there for believing in me and more expecially my club owner Mr Ifeanyi Ekwueme for finding me worthy to pilot the ship of this club“ Nwoke concluded.
