Malick FC ready for 2022 NLO league season
Chief Executive Director of Malick Football Club of Owerri, Atufule kachi says the team is ready for the 2022 NLO league season kicking off this midweek across the country, with the club facing Adoration Football Club of Enugu at the Onwubiko International stadium, Ngor Okpala, Imo State.
Chief Kachi disclosed the team has achieved much in the last one year since it was formed adding that he is motivated with the positive impact the team has made on the lives of the young players in the team.
Part of the achievement was the transfer of one of their players to a club to Europe. The club also attracted a premier league coach to head its technical crew. Based on the progress the club had made so far, he is expecting Malick FC to be in the professional football league in the next few years.
The CEO of Owerri finest hospitality franchise City Cruz hotel added that the team will hold a one day seminar to educate the players on the rules of the game. Players and officials of the squad will visit and feed the less privileged in the society on Today in preparation for the first game.
He urged football fans in Imo State to support the newest team in the state promising that the team will not let them down. The team will play all their home games at the Onwubiko International stadium Ngor Okpala.
