Fresh air breeds in Imo State Sports Commission
The lingering issues that has bedeviled the Imo State Sports Commission has been resolved as the State Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Dan Ogu, has waded into the issue.
Wakawaka Sports Extra can report that peace has been restored to the commission following the meeting between the members of the Association and Board at the office of the Commissioner for Sports.
Hon. Ogu, who after listening to the two bodies decided to maintain the rules governing sports associations which gives right to the associations to pick their chairman and board members of the various sports associations in the state.
He also waded in by stopping the plan inaugration of new association members picked by the Director of Sports in the Imo State Sports Commission led by Chief Emmanuel Metu.
