Chief 'BBC' Football Competition Create Waivers at Onicha Mbaise
The BBC Football Competition in memory of late Chief Boniface Chilaka Osuagwu AKA BBC, sponsored by Golden Hope International Organization, has officially kicked off at Onicha Mbaise.
The competition for communities in Omuku Onicha Mbaise is in memory of BBC who passed beyond this year, will have the eight villages in the community compete with each other.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Rev. Fr. Lawrence Aluka said the competition is to also mark the celebration of St Paul's Catholic Church Omuku Onicha which was postponed and the lunching of the roofing of the church building.
The Chairman of Board of Trustees of the foundation, Sir Martyns Onyekaozuru(Ksm) said the organization which is into medical, education and sports etc said that the competition will help straighten the bond between the people of the community and create employment for some of the skilful players in the area.
The President of Golden Hope International Foundation Organization Chief Mrs Ngozi Mbaocha said the competition is in honour of her father Late Chief Boniface Chilaka Osuagwu AKA BBC who supported sports and other good endeavors in the community during his life time.
She said Golden Hope International Foundation is in line with the SDG goals which sports is one of them and thanked her sponsors like NHRC, FIdelity Bank, MANN Foundation. for sponsoring the competition within a short notice.
She promised that the competition will be an annual event that will help develop the youths of the area which is the dream of the late father.
