It was a day of unprecedented joy, laughter, merriment, Jubilation, exultation and cheerfulness as Mr Chukwudi Ogbonnaya walked down the aisle with the love of his life, former Miss Ogochukwu Constance Amadi.
The epic event which held on the 8th day of January 2022 started with a wedding Service which took place at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Aladinma Owerri Parish, Imo state with family, friends and well wishers in attendance.
Speaking at the Church Service,the officiating Priest, Rt.Rev. Dr. Ikechukwu Ibeka Nduka admonised the couple to as much as possible avoid Third Party influence in their marriage, he noted that no two marriages are the same, hence, their marriage will definitely come with its own peculiarities and said that with constant communication and tolerance both will excel.
Rev Nduka, who spoke extensively on the topic 'He who finds a wife' counselled Mr Chuks on the need to take absolute care of his wife, He said that " When one takes care of his wife, his heaven will open". The Rev. further said there are blessings a man can never get except he gets married. He congratulated the couple.
The officiating Priest said that God knows the importance of women to men, that was why he created them. He strongly talked against extramarital sex affairs on either partner, noting that it comes with lots of curses
He told Mrs Constance to take her husband as 'Her Baby", while advising her to be submissive to her husband as every man is a king and must be treated as one. He advised ladies to not always go for Already Made Men but, to consider building with a man as that will attract more respect from their husbands.
The highpoint of the Service was the exchange of marital vows by the couple and signing of the marriage register.
Afterwards, the train moved to Westbrook Hotel, Owerri for the lavish reception. Guests were entertained with different types of exotic drinks and sumptuous meals.
The new couple was ushered into the hall by friends and guests with lots of currencies spared stylishly at them, while they thrilled the delirious guests with scintillating dance steps. They later cut their wedding cake and performed their first functions as couple by both feeding each other.
Speaking to Imoflash correspondent after the wedding, a visibly elated Groom thanked the Almighty God for making the day possible, he said that he is a fulfilled man now as he looks to forever with the wife of his youth and love of his world.
It was indeed a day to behold as the reception was attended by creme de la creme from all walks of life around the globe.
