YOUTHFUL AKARACHI AMADI AND HIS QUEST TO REPRESENT MBAITOLI/IKEDURU FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.
Over years, youths in Nigeria particularly in Imo State have not been actively involved in politics because of fear of the unknown or maybe as a result of an archaic mindset that sees politics as an affairs of the elderly. Sadly this has been instrumental to fast degrading, anomalies and decay in our political system of these days. It has also been a key factor to the economic instability, insecurity and their likes because the affairs and common wealth of the people have always been entrusted into the hands of the elders who derive joy in mismanaging both the people and their patrimony.
Engr. Akarachi Amadi is one of the 21st Century youths who has not only distinguished himself but also broken the jinx of fear of the unknown, lived above the archaic mindset and has thrown his hat into the ring to wrestle against the old folks that had taken larger potion in our political system. Though the gossips of how his father has been instrumental to his fast growing political participation has been flying left, right and center by people who are provoked by the support his father gives to him. That is by the way but, be it as it may, I think his father should be applauded for raising a next generation leader and giving him all the necessary support, every responsible father will always wish and pray. He also laid a strong foundation for his child to leverage on and be greater than him.
The young man, Akarachi before showing interest in politics which he sees as building brighter future has equipped himself with good track record of philanthropy and selfless services not only in Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency but across Imo State and the nation at large. I see him as a Youth development and social mobility advocate who has empowered and taken many youths out of the "streets of unemployment"
Whenever I look at any picture of Akarachi, I see purposefulness, I see Vibrance, I see Hope rising for the youths, I see a man who is passionate about making commitments for the common good of the society. Whenever I see Akarachi I get inspired, motivated, hoping that someday more youths alike will rise to the occasion and get involved in the political system.
People of Mbaitoli and Ikeduru I wish you people would shun unnecessary hatred, bitterness, hearsay, gossips and "pull him down" syndrome to support the aspiration of this young man because his aspiration is borne out of an unquenchable passion to add more values and bring about uncommon opportunities and positive impacts in Mbaike.
