Head coach of CENN foundation football club Coach Okoronkwor Chinedu West has lauded his team’s effort for their exploit at the just concluded YSFON champions league and has reassured fans that 2023 will be all about grassroot football development.
Coach Okoronkwor reaffirmed that come 2023 , CENN FC won’t deviate from it’s focus at discovering hidding young talents across country and empower them by bringing them to the lime light which is in line with the aims and objectives of the foundation .
Recall that CEO of CENN Foundation Mrs Dorathy Nwawudu told newsmen in our previous edition that the foundation which was set up in honour of Chief Engineer Njoku Nwawudu was aimed at helping and empowering Youths, Women and Disabled through, sports, health, Agriculture, education etc.
In line with the above aim, CENN FC has over seven players plying their trade in football abroad and others in the Nigerian topflight league.
The Tactical genius of the Mbaise side has now reaffirmed that more of that will come in 2023.
In his words Coach Okoronkwor said; “ The management of The youth sports federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Imo state chapter has done a good job in putting this tournament together. I give great kudos to My strong capacity CEO, Mrs Dorathy Nwawudu who actually made my stay in Imo state and in the club a memorable and good one. I want to thank everybody, the media team of CENN foundations and even the players, they were fantastic, they put up a performance that actually led us to a successful outing this year. I want to thank everyone and I am hoping to see a good set up of football grassroot development league come 2023. It is good we are ending the year on a high note, We will consolidate on our achievements at the YSFON champions league and then grow from their. We hope to harness more talents and also exceed this year’s achievement by empowering more youths in 2023. Thank you and God bless.“ Coach Okoronkwor concluded.
