Uzodimma sees every good Imolites as partners in progress- Chukwu
The Special Adviser/General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) Engr. Francis Chukwu has admonished the Executives and members of Mbano People Assembly to always exercise decorum and high sense of discipline in their conducts at all times.
He stated in his office on Friday while addressing the group led by Comrade Anselem Ndubuisi, during their courtesy visit to him. Engr. Chukwu thanked them for not only coming to identify with him but also for lending their support to the Shared Prosperity Government of His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma as he is the one of the State Government officials serving under the Administration.
The OCDA helmsman who used the forum to express appreciation to the Governor for appointing him to oversee OCDA as the GM, explained that Governor Uzodimma sees every good citizen of Imo State as a partner in progress while highlighting some of the ongoing people oriented projects of Governor Uzondimma's Administration such as the Owerri-Okigwe road that transverses through one of the two LGAs of Mbano, the Amaraku road, rehabilitation of entire stretch of road from Orlu to Orieagu,RAMP projects in various wards in Mbano namely, Umunumo, Agbaja, Amauzari as well as the Mega Water project situated at Umueze 1 in Ehime Mbano which is expected to supply water to four communities when completed, being executed by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources courtesy of the Governor's significant synergy with the Federal Government.
Speaking further, the Youthful SA/GM of OCDA said: "May I also inform you that my OCDA led Administration operates with clear human face as there is no room for touting, violence, victimization, intimidation, brigandage and so on. The commitment to ensure that there is new face of OCDA is in line with the mandate of sanitization and restoration of public confidence which His Excellency gave me upon my appointment as the General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority."
While expressing the readiness and willingness for partnership in relevant areas, Engr. Francis Chukwu assured them of the commitment of Governor Uzodimma's Shared Prosperity Government to purposeful leadership that will engender more enduring development going forward.
In his speech, the leader of Mbano People's Assembly (MPA) Comrade Anselem Ndubuisi thanked the Governor for appointing Engr. Chukwu as OCDA GM, describing him as an illustrious son of Mbano who is using his position to distinguish himself in service to mankind. He expressed their request for Engr. Chukwu to be made their grand patron.
Highpoint of the courtesy call was the presentation of picture frame to the OCDA helmsman by the group, in recognition of his performance so far.
