Umunoha/Azara Ward APC visits Agogbuo, affirms commitment in ensuring victory for Mbaitoli APC
The leaders, Executives and members of Umunoha/ Azara Ward of the All Progressives Congress APC have once again reaffirmed their total, unalloyed, unmitigated and absolute support and loyalty to Hon Chinonye Agogbuo led Mbaitoli Local Government Area chapter of the party. They made this known when a high powered delegation from the ward led by the Apex leader, Chief Chris Nwabia paid a solidarity visit to the LGA Party Chairman at his office.
While welcoming the delegation, Agogbuo noted that Umunoha/ Azara Ward stands out as one of the most enlightened and peace loving wards in the LGA, he commended the leaders, executives and indeed all the party faithfuls in the ward for been tolerant and eschewing bitterness, backbiting and pulling him syndrome.
He promised to ensure that the issue of marginalization as complained by the delegation is addressed head-on and promised to get the ward more involved in the LGA party activities.
He called on them to continue their undivided support to the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who he described as a 'Talk and Do Governor' that is seriously changing the narrative in terms of delivery of dividends of democracy to Imolites.
He said that despite the plethora of distractions and challenges confronting the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Uzodimma, he has continued to deliver beyond expectations, he appreciated the Governor for bringing back the Development Centers to life, a move he said will ensure that governance reaches the grassroots.
Agogbuo further said that with the successful hosting of the 2022 Nigeria Army Forces Remembrance day in Imo state, it has gone a long way to show the level of stability in terms of security Governor Uzodimma has achieved so far in Imo state and gave kudos to him for being a worthy leader.
Speaking,the Apex leader of Umunoha/Azara Ward APC and leader of the delegation, Chief Chris Nwabia commended Hon Agogbuo for steading the ship in Mbaitoli LGA APC, he noted that the party has made significant progress since he took the mantle of leadership.
He complained about the injustice and marginalization the ward has suffered in recent past and called on the Chairman to use his good office to address them.
He noted that the ward is fully behind the chairman.
Other leaders in the delegation were Hon Ndudi Nwokocha,the indefatigable ward Chairman, Barr Angus Mgbemene, Chief Meg Onuoha, Barr Ekeledirichukwu Asikaogu Oruwari, the LGA legal Adviser, the LGA Assistant secretary, Hon. Ignatius Okafor ,Hon Azubike Luis.
It is important to note that Umunoha/Azara Ward is the seventh ward to pay solidarity visit to Hon Chinonye Agogbuo since the completion of APC primaries
