Umuagwu/Umuwoha APC pledges total loyalty to Agogbuo led Mbaitoli APC
In continuation of his efforts in ensuring that Mbaitoli Local Government Area All Progressives Congress APC is united, formidable and re- energized to record landslide victory in the 2023 General Elections, the chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo has once again charged Party faithfuls not to loose focus on the arduous and gruelling task ahead.
He gave the charge when selected ward and LGA executives and leaders of Umuagwu/Umuwoha ward APC led by the IMC member, Ikechukwu okasi paid him a solidarity visit in his office. Agogbuo said that the party in the LGA must get it right in 2023 as they can't afford not to win the House of Assembly, Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency and Owerri senatorial Zonal elections as was the case in the 2019 elections.
He described Umuagwu/Umuagwu ward as very strategic, judging by the number of registered voters in the area in particular and Mbaitoli East in general. He promised to do everything possible to encourage and support them to succeed, while thanking them for always being his pillar since he assumed office.
Agogbuo noted that Mbaitoli East has consistently benefited from successive government, saying that under the present 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma, the area has one out of the two commissioners graciously offered to Mbaitoli LGA in the person of Barr. Kezie Ogaziechi, the Honourable Commissioner of Lands. He noted that the governor has lots of interest in Mbaitoli and enjoined them to continue to give him their unalloyed and unflinching support.
An elated Agogbuo thanked the governor for the construction of Owerri -Orlu and Owerri -Okigwe roads which cut across various parts of Mbaitoli among other gigantic developmental projects of his administration. He appreciated Governor for the creation of development centers across the state, in which Mbaitoli LGA got two, Mbaitoli East and Mbaitoli South, he noted that this gesture will help to ensure that dividends of democracy reached the grassroots.
In their various remarks, Ikechukwu okasi, Hon Chijioke Ehirim, Hon Eto Chima, Hon Chimezie Patrick, Hon Chinonye Uzoaru, Hon Chukwudi Oguguro and Hon Constance Opurum ,the IMC member, secretary, welfare officer, financial Secretary, Special Citizen and woman leader of Umuagwu/ Umuwoha Ward APC respectively pledged their total support to Agogbuo led Mbaitoli APC.
They assured the chairman that they will mobilize aggressively for the party at the grassroot level and promised not to be used as tools by few disgruntled elements to destabilize the party.
Hon Eddie Onyenobi, Hon Cannis Oforlete, Hon Ihenchege Alphonsus and Hon Opurum Helen were among the ward leaders present at the meeting.
