Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the Action Alliance Governorship aspirant in the 2019 election has allegedly been kidnapped in St Peter's Anglican Church Eziama Obaire Community in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State during the thanksgiving service of his late mother.

According to a source close to Nwosu that spoke to Imoflash correspondent, the security officials attached to Nwosu did not resist the attack as they were told to 'stand down by higher authority'.

Uche Nwosu, the son in law to the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha was seen been whisked away in a booth of a car in a viral video on social media.

His Aide, Mr. Ibekwe Darlington posted the video amidst panicking by people in the video, as the kidnappers shot sporadically
