Thousands converge as Tony Chukwu endorses, canvasses Support for Ndubueze.
Zone and foremost business Baron, Tony Chukwu earlier today endorsed Ndubueze Patrick for the Imo North Senatorial Race.
He stated this at an LGA rally in his Country Home of Ehime Mbano LGA which had an unprecedented turn out of thousands of women from across the wards of the LGA. in a gripping, emotional but yet concise 10 minute speech, Chief Tony Chukwu once more reiterated his Apology to the Otanchara/Otanzu Clan for the grave marginalization that has been metted to them for several decades hence their failure to produce any Senator since the creation of the zone.
While emphasizing on the need for equity to prevail in the forthcoming polls, He remarked that he had been greatly instrumental in making several senators who had emerged from the zone in the last two decades and was of the conviction that it was time for power to shift to Okigwe. In his words " Obowo has represented the zone twice, so has Ihitte Uboma, Ehime Mbano and Isiala, but of the three Districts in the zone, The Otanchara-Otanzu clan has remained shut out from representation. I said to myself this is wrong. it is time for justice to prevail this time around. it is unbelievable that someone from Obowo would have the heart to throw his hat in the Senatorial race. I will never support any candidate running for Senate if not Patrick Ndubueze. and this is for the singular reason of equity and his impeccable ability to get the job done".
Chief Chukwu further berated the dispassionate demeanor of the other candidates running on the ballot: " it is only a man without Conscience that will still be running for an election when you are fully In the Know that Okigwe has never produced a Representative in the Senate. at least for the sake of God and equity, you should be reasonable enough to do what is right. more so, it is unarguable that Ndubueze will bring quality representation when elected into the Senate. He is the only one who will be a ranking member when elected. This is why Okigwe Zone should vote for him. I have said it before and am saying it again, I will not support that man from Obowo".
Present at the event was the APC Senatorial Candidate for Okigwe Zone, Ndubueze Patrick C. The Commissioner for Tourism; Jerry Egemba. The Chairman of the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA); Engr. Francis Chukwu amongst a litany of other Dignitaries.
