PVC revalidation paramount to APC sweeping victory in 2023- Agogbuo
The ever zealous, vibrant and energetic chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo has re- emphasized the importance of Party faithfuls to revalidate their Permanent Voter's Card PVC using the window currently being provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and also encouraged those that don't have PVCs to register as the 2023 general elections approaches. Agogbuo stated this when a Senatorial aspirant for Owerri Zone in the party, Prince Alex Mbata paid a consultative visit to the LGA.
Hon Chinonye Agogbuo opined that Mbaitoli been the biggest Local Government Area by voters strength cannot avoid to take a back seat in the electioneering processes, noting that the only requirement needed to ensure that the LGA continues to pride herself as an election decider is the PVC. He said that already he is in talks with various leaders of the party from ward levels on ways to make party faithfuls registration seamless. He assured that the party under his leadership in the LGA will deliver bloc votes in all strata of the election.
He commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for making APC a party that believes in the masses, saying that with the governor's visionary leadership in the party and by extension the state, APC is set to have a wonderful outing in the general elections. He urged Prince Alex Mbata as he has always does to all aspirants to intensify consultations, noting that only popular aspirants will get the party tickets.
In his address, Prince Alex Mbata,. described Mbaitoli as a pivotal LGA in the politics of the state, he promised to carry everybody along when elected. He used the opportunity to read out some of his plans for the Zone if elected.
Present were APC Mbaitoli LGA executives, ward executives and other critical stakeholders of the party in the LGA.
