Crisis is currently rocking Imo PDP in respect to Ideato North and South federal house of reps seat, as Paschal Obi who's presently serving the Federal Constituency in Abuja is set to join the party, he will be wrestling with Barr. Ikenga Ugochinyere Imo, on who flies the party's ticket in 2023 general election.
Obi has already perfected his plans to join PDP. Just recently, he met with some PDP honchos across the federal constituency, concerning his defection which might likely happens soon, but the camp of Barr. Ugochinyere Imo, seems very chary of his defection plan from APC to PDP, hence determined to give him a fight for his money, and of his life.
Many party members who have scores to settle with Hon. Paschal Obi, sounded great warning that they won't hesitate to move in their large numbers to APC should he emerge the party's flagbearer, while others who do not want Ugochinyere, are threatening fire and brimstone to also defect to APC en masse and work for their brother Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State.
So far, Hon. Paschal Obi, has wriggled his way to the camp of the PDP national secretary, Hon. Sam Daddy Anyanwu, while Ugochinyere Imo, maintains his romance and stand with Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
The issue is wittingly or unwittingly affecting more, the already frosty relationship and mistrust existing between Hon. Sam Daddy Anyanwu and. Emeka Ihedioha, as things are starting to vary on who should be incharge of the leadership of the party in Imo.
