OwerriI Municipal APC Ward Tour starts on a Supersonic Note

It was indeed colourful as the much anticipated APC Owerri Municipal ward tour kick started with Aladinma ward (I) being the first ward to open the two weeks themed " APC Unity Rally".
Ready to receive and play host at today's ceremony was the ward chairman of Aladinma ward (I) Mr. Ihunna Chikaodi, the Apex leader of the ward, Rt. Hon. Ernest Ibejiako, Chief. John Ekwebelem(LGA Municipal Executive), Mrs Chidimma Ibeh ( Ex-Woman Leader of the ward ), Hon. Patrick Obinna ( LGA councillor and Youth Leader), Hon. Ezeibe, Barr. Ifeanyi Dike, Lady Nkechi Manus, Hon. Joe Ohaegbulam, Mr. Chika Collins, Mr. Ehirim Ifeanyi and a host of others .
The August visitors from the Municipal and state leadership of the Party had in attendance personalities like the APC chairman of Owerri Municipal, Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim, The State Organizing Secretary of IMO APC, Hon. Iyke Sunday Umeh, who represented the State Party Chairman of IMO APC, Hon. MacDonald Ebere, PhD, Hon. Udoka Iwueke (State Youth Leader), Dr. Samuelson Emehibe (SA to the Governor on Special Citizens) , Hon. Odogwu Deka ( Fmr. State Youth Leader of IMO APC), Hon. Peter Madu ( State Auditor, IMO APC) , Dr. Mrs Obiageri Oguzie ( Ex-Officio IMO APC), Chief. Ugwumba, Hon. Justice Ogu (Owerri Zonal Chairman, IMO APC) , Hon. Julian Chijioke ( SA, New And Electronic Media to the State Party Chairman of IMO APC) , The Municipal Secretary Pst. Iyke Ogu , Hon. Ijeoma Ubah ( Municipal Woman Leader) and many more. Among the LGA councillors present at the event had officers like Hon. Sunday Egbai (New Owerri ward II ) , Hon. Ray Nzeh (Azuzi ward II), Hon. Ozed Emereuwaonu ( Ikenegbu ward I) , Hon. Murphy Duru( GRA) , Hon. Emeka Nwaneri (Azuzi IV), Hon. Oguamanam (Azuzi I) , and Hon. Mrs Nnenna Ohiri(Ikenegbu ward II). Ward Chairmen who graced the event are; Mr. Chuka Ihejieto ( Ikenegbu I ), Mr. Chidi Awa (GRA) , Mr. Soronnadi Justice ( Azuzi II) , Mr. Maxwell (New Owerri II) , Mr. Austin Ezeocha (Azuzi III) , and Hon. Dan Amadi (Aladinma II) present at the occasion.
Municipal APC Chairman, Hon. Ibezim used the opportunity to address the people on the importance of supporting the shared prosperity Reality of HE_ Sen. Hope Uzodinma. He added that the last Ward Tour organized by the party has yielded great fruits especially with the emergence of the Apex Leader of the Party Hon. MacDonald Ebere as State Party Chairman of IMO APC, a symbolic feat that exposes the fact that the party is working and as well fully in charge of Owerri Municipal politics.
Hon. Onyekachi said the Tour is aimed at consolidating on the promises earlier made by the party that more infrastructural changes will happen in Owerri Municipal and the only way to show gratitude to the State Governor is by mobilizing prospective entrants to join the party.
Speaking on behalf of the State Party Chairman of IMO APC , The State Organizing Secretary of the Party, Hon. Iyke Umeh expressed satisfaction over the cacophony of Party Faithfuls that stormed the event, as he agreed that indeed the party is fully in charge of the Political organogram of Owerri Municipal politics. Hon. Sunday added that he was sent by State Party Chairman to represent and flag off the tour owing to the State Party Chairman's Swearing in ceremony that took place in Abuja, a historic event that heralds the kickoff of day to day politics business in the State.
Hon. Sunday went further to say that he's also on a fact finding mission at the behest of the State Governor , to see whether the people of Owerri Municipal are grateful over the infrastructural changes the Governor made manifest in the Municipality. He opined that the Rehabilitation and construction of roads like Chukwuma Nwoha, Umezurike by Wethdral roundabout, Dick Tiger road , Relief Market Road and World bank road deserve gratitude and commendation from residents of the mentioned areas. He added that currently, massive Rehabilitation work is ongoing at the MCC/URATTA road and not forgetting the balloon erosion control project sited at Works Layout.
Hon. Iyke solicited for the support and commitment of loyalists and Party Faithfuls aimed at seeing to the success of the Party especially now that the party is navigated by a Son of the Council Hon. MacDonald Ebere, PhD.
On the side of the state Excos and Leadership had wonderful attendees like Hon. Clinton Amadi ( Former house majority leader ) and Hon. Zanda Ojiri ( former Owerri Municipal TC chairman ), Mrs. Ada Ekekwe (Fmr. IMO APC Welfare Officer), Sir. Lawrence Okoye (Admin Secretary of IMO APC), Chief. Mrs Ada Ekwuesiokwu, Hon. Pius Osuji, Chief. Ambrose Nkwodimma (IMC Chairman of Owerri Municipal Council), Chief and Lolo Innocent Agor, Hon. Christian Nzeh and Hon. Mrs Esther Kamalu etc.
Aspirants of the forthcoming Council and House of Assembly Elections like Nze Joe Agor, Hon. Ugochukwu Obodo, Hon. Darlington Nwachukwu and Hon. Anumnu Joseph , used the opportunity offered by the occasion to once again make public their political intentions, as each drummed for support from those present at the event.
