Owerri Federal Constituency 2023: Buchi Oparaugo gets Avu Community Endorsement
The people of Avu Community in Owerri-West LGA yesterday 11th April, 2022 endorsed High Chief Buchi Oparaugo as their sole candidate for house of representatives (Owerri Federal constituency).
This adoption took place at the Avu residence of the aspirant as he officially made his intentions known to his immediate constituency.
Addressing his people , High Chief Buchi Oparaugo stated that his ambition to represent Owerri Federal Constituency at the green chambers was driven by his quest to make them fishers of men. He opined that Owerri Federal Constituency deserves effective and qualitative representation which he has come to render.
The oil magnet and crises manager maintained that the business of legislation is anchored on bills & motions, oversight and constituency projects which he is prepared to offer as well as empower and develop his immediate constituency.
"Ohamadike" as popularly called urged the good people of Avu to leverage on the ongoing voters registration and ensure that they all have their voters card which will serve as the very first task in achieving their ambition of electing quality over mediocrity.
Hon Chika Nwanesi who welcomed and thanked the people of Avu for gracing the occasion urged them to support the ambition of their son as it is time for their community to produce the next federal lawmaker .
In their separate speeches, Hon. Sabina Anukam and Hon. Clement Nwaiwu assured the aspirant of their unalloyed support and promised to work for his success in the coming elections.
They described the ambition of High Chief Buchi Oparaugo as a welcomed development that requires all hands on deck for it's success.
It will be recalled that few days ago, High Chief Buchi Oparaugo declared his intentions to run for house of representatives for Owerri Federal Constituency under the platform of APC at Owerri West LGA party office and it was greeted with large turn out.
Other APC stalwarts present at the event includes , Rt Hon Clinton Amadi, Hon Ken Ibemere, Hon Reagan Onwuamaegbu.
