OPEN LETTER TO ALL STAKEHOLDERS IN OHAJI NATION ABOUT OHAJI/ EGBEMA/ OGUTA/ ORU WEST FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:

My dear Ohaji Nation Stakeholders,

It is with humility, joy, sense of probable lost of pride, but with the Heart of the Lion King that I write this Letter to all the critical Stakeholders in Ohaji Nation.

I am writing this letter not because of the fact that the People of Ohaji Nation are weak or that they don't have the energy and the tendency to redeem themselves from any Political or Socio Economic threat that may face them , but because an average Ohaji Man and Woman loves to accommodate and share whatever he or she has with his or her brothers and sisters.

That does not show weakness, but, rather the embodiments of love, Wisdom, strength , Justice, Equity and Fairness.

On the strength of the foregoing, I want to draw the attentions of all well meaning critical stakeholders of Ohaji Nation to the issues that shall be raised in this letter concerning our Federal Constituency.

Since the beginning of the present Democratic dispensation in 1999, it has become very clear that no person from the Ohaji Nation have been elected into the Ohaji/ Egbema/ Oguta/ Oru West Federal House of Representatives.

Not because of any other thing, but for the disunity that has unnaturally bedevilled the Political Stakeholders of the Ohaji Nation. This disunity we know was not natural but Man made.

To be able to have an Ohaji Person in the Federal House of Representatives in the nearest future, the People of Ohaji Nation must get our acts together and support the Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) from Oguta LGA in the spirit of Fairness for the 2023 National Assembly Elections.

I say this because this is the only Political Engineering that if seriously done, can guarantee the possibility of anybody from Ohaji Nation to have the opportunity to be elected into House of Reps in the nearest future,. To do otherwise by voting another Party's Candidate particularly the PDP that still retained their candidate in Ohaji/ Egbema shall be disastrous for the entire People of the Ohaji Nation.

I say this because, if we do not Vote APC candidates in the 2023 National Assembly Elections, it then means that Ohaji/ Egbema as a local government area have gone to the House of Reps for four (4) times without any person from the Ohaji Nation being there for once. It must have been all Egbema affairs.

The APC as a responsible Political Party that believes in Fairness, decided to cure these anomalies by sending their Party Ticket for the House of Reps Seat to Oguta LGA, as against the PDP that wants to pepertuate the denigrations of the People of Ohaj Nation by retaining their House of Reps ticket in Ohaji/ Egbema, precisely Egbema, which if they succeeds (God Forbid), the House of Reps seat must have been in Ohaji/Egbema LGA for a recorded period of Four(4) times without anyone from Ohaji Nation being there. What shall we tell our Youths , Women and Children that we did when this level of marginalization was handed down to us.

I write the first stanza of this open letter to all the critical stakeholders in the Ohaji Nation because I know the voting strength of the Ohaji Nation. I do know that Ohaji Nation alone has the voting strength of close to Eighty Thousand. That this could be harnessed to liberate ourselves from the Political, Economic stagnations and disaster that may awaits all of us if we don't support and vote for the APC Candidate for the National Assembly in the 2023 General Elections.

The Gainth mus araise, and the time is now.

The only way the Ohaji Man can think of being elected into the Federal House of Representatives in the nearest future is to move the seat out of Ohaji/ Egbema come 2023, then do a thorough and good Political Engineering thereafter. I therefore call on all the Critical stakeholders in the Ohaji Nation to know that another opportunity is once more here again for all of us to stand out and answer our Fathers names by making sure that the House of Representatives Seat moves out of Ohaji/ Egbema for now. That's the end of the Discussions.

We know that nobody ever defeats any courageous People that believes in themselves.

Long Live our beloved Ohaji Nation. A better Place to live in Peace and Hamorny.

Yours truly,

Hon Damian Oparah Journalist Writes from Ohaji Nation.
