After extensive deliberations and consultations with relevant Stakeholders in Okigwe zone, the PDP Candidate for the Imo North Senatorial District, Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu wishes to convey his decision to withdraw from the Race.
It is important to note that the campaign Directorate is fully aware of the enormous support given to Ikeoha by the good people of Okigwe zone. his philanthropy, benevolence and empathy has no doubt radiated through the several regions of the zone. but he has in line with the need to uphold equity and fairness withdrawn to support the stronger opinion widely held by an array of Stakeholders and leaders in the zone.
The Directorate wishes to commend the great efforts of our supporters and the inconveniences this may have caused. The Decision to Withdraw is for the greater good of the people and the growth of Democracy.
Kindly note that the PDP will not be on the ballot for the Senatorial elections on the 25th of February, 2023.
