The Special Adviser/General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority, OCDA, Engr. Francis Chukwu, as part of his reformation process in the State Government's Agency has introduced a new identification stickers for Revenue Collection Agents, Debts Recovery and Special Taskforce Agents.
The stickers were presented and flagged off for use on Monday morning by Engr. Chukwu, as he announced that all vehicles used for field work by the agents must be branded with the new identification stickers, stressing that this is in a bid to reduce impersonation and other corrupt practices.
He further said that each sticker outlines area of specialization and coverage by the agents, while revealing that hotlines 07034373749, 09066032322 were alternatively added for the general public as part of the easy identification.
Engr. Francis Chukwu maintained that the new OCDA under his watch will work with human face and without fear or favour, stressing that the 3R administration of the Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma has zero tolerance for corruption.
One of the consultants Lady Ifeoma Ukaegbu, expressed satisfaction with the new innovation in the stickers introduced by the OCDA GM, while assuring on behalf of other agents to meet up with the standard of work outlined.
It would be recalled that on 9th -Dec-2021, OCDA GM Engr. Francis Chukwu inaugurated the agents, while tasking them to be transparent and maintain all standards of accountability in the discharge of their duties.
