The PDP Candidate for the Imo State House of Assembly In Obowo state Constituency, Hon. Chika Okafor has once more berated the political logic of a third term agenda in Obowo.
The two time contestant issued this statement on Wednesday while fielding questions from the press in Obowo. he described the idea as quizzical that it would come to mind to brook the thought of a Continuity plan in Obowo.
He went ahead to state that the looming discontent in Obowo is a sufficient reason for the incumbent house member, Rt hon. Kennedy Ibeh to generously bow out as it has become evidently and conspicuously glaring that he has lost both his popularity and loyalty from the electorate.
In a statement released by the Chika Okafor Media Directorate and made available to the Press Hon. Okafor Argued that the likes of Dee Sam Mbakwe and Hon. F.U Nwokorie, the latter of which was one of the most notable legislative representatives in Obowo needed just four years to make astounding Impacts and thus as as a corrollary to this, anyone who could not effect a meaningful change in 8 Years is unworthy of a third chance.
" It is incredulous, unthinkable and fantastical that one singular Individual will be so taken by flagrant avarice and pecuniary interests as to put both the future and lives of the Youths, mothers and Fathers, Market men, Women as well as the masses in jeopardy just to fulfill his selfish ambitions. I am talking tough because I know I represent the opinions of Obowo majority, we are asking the Rt. Hon Speaker to bow out generously or expect an exactitude of what happened in Sri Lanka. that is what happens when the people loose absolute confidence in you, we are tired of suffering, we are tired of ineffective representation, Kennedy Ibeh must go, there are many ways to contribute to contribute to the well being of Obowo asides being an incumbent house member. Life does not begin and end in the legislative Chambers of the house. "
He further lamented that it was disheartening to see modern day despotism rear it's ugly head within the Legislative footage of Imo state. Having said this, He Implored all Citizens of Obowo to do the needful by giving him a Chance at redeeming the battered Image of Ndi Obowo.
