Ngor-Okpala: No justification to vote PDP- MacDonald Ebere
The Imo state Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Sir MacDonald Ebere,Ph.D has opined that there is no justification for the people of Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area, to vote for the main opposition Party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party, in the forthcoming Ngor-Okpala Legislative bye election holding on Saturday,26/02/2022.
MacDonald Ebere stated this at the grand rally organized by his Party at Ngor-Okpala to solicit for votes for the APC flag bearer in the Bye election, Okenze Bilyden Amajirionwu. He noted that PDP and indeed the former member representing the area owes Ndi Ngor-Okpala an apology for disappointing them, by absconding from duty for two years without any trace, saying they should hide their faces in shame, describing PDP as People Deceiving People.
He urged the people of Ngor-Okpala to vote for APC as a vote for the party is a vote for liberation from the shackles of bad governance and representation. Ebere enumerated some of the people oriented projects been executed by the Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma scattered all over the state and enjoined the people of the area to key in by aligning with the ruling party.
He said" PDP after deceiving you since 1999 still has the tenacity to come and seek for your votes, they should hide their faces in shame. Since 1999, no meaningful project has been attracted to Ngor-Okpala by the Peoples Deceiving People.
"Come out on Saturday and vote for APC, ensure to protect your votes, nobody will intimidate you, we will match them strength for strength, Amajirionwu will deliver, he has the antecedent.
"Our Governor loves you, he is here in person to talk to you. Ngor-Okpala should try and align with the center to enjoy the dividends of Democracy being offered by His Excellency" He said.
Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of the party's flag to Okenze Bilyden Amajirionwu by the governor and the state chairman.
Dignitaries at the event included the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, the Deputy Governor, Prof Placid Njoku, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, RT Hon Kennedy Ibeh and members of the state House of Assembly, Senator Frank Ibezim led the National Assembly members, members of the state executive council and other top government functionaries.
The sensational singer, Flavor was on hand to entertain the mammoth crowd with some scintillating performances.
Members of Ihedioha Vanguards in the LGA also defected to APC and symbolically burnt their green caps.
