Former Member of the House of Representatives and the APC Candidate for the Imo North Senatorial District, Hon. Patrick Ndubueze has promised the people of Obowo that he will offer exceptional representation when elected into the Senate.
He declared this earlier today in his address to a select group of APC faithfuls, stakeholders and leaders at an event in Amuzi, Obowo. He stated that his tenure at the Senate will engender an era of accountable and sustainable representation.
Hon. Ndubueze averred that he remained both a candidate and an individual of incomparable repute given his pedigree in the private sector as well as his experience as a former legislator. He further noted that an even more credible reason for his aspirations was the fact that the Okigwe-Onuimo Bloc had never produced a senator since the inception of modern day democracy.
He went on to give an analogy of the painful ordeal of the Political marginalisation that had been metted to the Otancahara Otanzu bloc when he remarked" imagine three brothers dishing meat from a big pot of soup, while two- the Etiti and ehime clan busy themselves by dishing interchangeably, the other one watches with seething discontent because he has been deprived from partaking in the same exercise as his brothers. as you would expect, he will not be happy. This is the sad recurrence prevalent in the zone today hence the need for justice and equity to prevail this time around".
Additionally, he maintained that by a summation of every plausible factor, he remained the most qualified candidate to Represent Okigwe at the Senate. " I was a member of the House of Representatives at the age of 29 and the leader of the South east caucus. Such positions of immense responsibility are best handled by persons with depth of knowledge regarding issues of governance, not by a Novice. I will be a ranking member at the Senate, more so I will be qualified to hold any principal office what this portends is a higher stake for Okigwe zone at the National Assembly. these are my advantages as a Candidate and clearly what differentiates me from the rest on the ballot. this is why I am beckoning on you to make the right decision by electing me into the Senate at the forthcoming elections"
The highlights of the event was the witnessing of the donation of an FG Wilson Generator by the House member Representing Okigwe South Federal Constituency to the Health Center in Amuzi. Also present at the event was the House member Representing Obowo State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibeh, Chieftain of the APC Dr. Eddy Anyanwu, D.G of The Ndubueze campaign Organisation Chief Greg. Owuamanam Dr. Japh Azubuine, former Obowo LGA Chairman amongst a collection of other Dignitaries.
