Mbaitolu APC Stakeholders scores Uzodimma very High
Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State held a stakeholders meeting earlier today to appraise the party’s progress after the congresses. It was an opportunity for the party’s bigwigs to score Governor Uzodimma high.
Opening the meeting, the Chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon. Chinonye Agogbuo used the opportunity to outline the giant strides of the Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma within just 2years in office to the good people of Mbaitoli. He outlined the Governor’s giant projects and achievements which according to him are verifiable and not just on paper. He noted that Mbaitoli LGA have benefited so much from the appointments, projects and stand to benefit more from the government, urging party faithfuls to reciprocate by giving their 100% support to the government and the APC.
Hon Agogbuo noted that the governor has captured most of the roads in Owerri Metropolis and is now moving his attention to rural roads, informing them that Mbaitoli will get 5km road project from the 135km roads approved by the Governor for rural areas in the 27 local governments of the State.
The Chairman also outlined the Governor’s giant strides in the health sector as he only few days ago approved the renovation of all the primary health centers in the State and as well the education sector with the renovation of primary schools that will commence soon.
Stakeholders who spoke at the meeting included the Honorable Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Barr. Kezie Ogaziechi who mentioned that the Governor deserves the best from Mbaitoli because he is doing very well in just 2years in Office. He called on ndi Mbaitoli to support the Governor and the party.
Also speaking, the Commisioner for Environment, Prof. Emma Duru also told party members why it is important to support the party at the center, noting that the APC is both the party at the center in the State and Federal.
Other leaders who spoke at the meeting included the former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Barr. Kingsley Ononuju (ekwedashike) who urged members to help the governor and the party by making sure that they all protect our respective wards.
The IMC Chairman Hon. John Eke spoke at the meeting as well with other leaders like Chief Marcon Nlemigbo, Chief Rufus Osueke, Engr. Innocent ikpamezie, Baba Ali, Chief Dan Iwuorie among others.
The Chairman of the President Generals in Mbaitoli LGA, Chief Emmanuel Duru also opined that they are happy with the achievements of the governor in the state.
Reacting on behalf of the traditional rulers in Mbaitoli, the Chairman of Mbaitoli traditional institution HRH Eze Edmand A Njoku (Adah 1 of Egbeada) who also gave the closing remarks thanked the governor for his show of love to Mbaitoli people by giving us some slots from those giving staff of office by the Governor yesterday and prayed for him to continue with the good work he is doing in Imo State.
