--Strategizes 120,000 Votes For Gov Uzodinma, APC In Next Elections
The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo state, Chief John Eke, has appealed to women in the LGA to embrace unity of purpose and peace in their continued support for the Shared Prosperity administration in the state led by the Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, with a view to benefiting immense democracy- dividends by the APC-led Government in the years ahead.
Addressing the women during a meeting held at the Mbaitoli Council headquarters, Nwaorieubi, on Saturday, february,12,2022, the IMC Chairman said that the essence was to bring the women together across political party line, in order to brainstorm on how best to utilize the numerical strength of the LGA in democracy in the overall interest of women in the area.
The Mbaitoli Council helmsman further stated, while tasking the women to reunite, as to actualize fully the targeted'120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand) votes from Mbaitoli LGA to the APC, come 2023 general elections and beyond, that the Shared Prosperity Government by Gov. Uzodimma has demonstrated considerable will to foster economic and social welfare of Mbaitoli women.
Eke however urged the women, especially, the APC women leaders and stakeholders to take urgent steps in embarking on the process of converting fellow women to the governing party ,APC, so as to benefit more of the Shared Prosperity administration in the state led by Gov. Uzodimma.
Responding, the women leaders who spoke on behalf of Mbaitoli women; Mrs.Esther Emezige, Mrs.Ifeoma Kalu, Mrs.Ijeoma Edeh, Mrs.Chinyere Ekwibeaba, Mrs.Amaka Chukwu, among others, pledged commitment and support for the Gov.Uzodimma and the IMC Chairman of Mbaitoli LGA, Chief Eke in moving the LGA forward to greater heights, and, in their own good interest.
Highlight of the occasion includes the unveiling of the APC Women Solidarity Wrapper-Uniform by the Mbaitoli Council Boss, as a symbol of unity of purpose (Oneness) by the Mbaitoli women.
