Mbaitoli APC women leaders visits Agogbuo,reaffirms commitment to Party's victory during general elections
Women Leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Mbaitoli Local Government Area have once again reaffirmed their total commitment, dedication and support in ensuring that the party has a great outing in the forth coming general elections by winning landslidly in all the elective positions.
The women leaders comprising of all Ward women leaders, their vices and other selected women stakeholders made this known when they paid a solidarity visit to the Mbaitoli APC Chairman, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo at his office.
While welcoming the high powered women leaders, Agogbuo rated them highly for their patience, tolerance and believe in the party despite the enormous challenges they face daily and pledge to continually give them more opportunities to showcase and excute their leadership skills.
He described the women as major stakeholders and pushers in politics and noted that years when women are not regarded and are neglected are over.
He encouraged them not to allow themselves to be used as destructive elements in the party.
ToAgogbuo further enjoined the women to use the opportunity of the forthcoming August meeting to showcase the party by spreading the good works of the Governor to their fellow women. He told them that as the party in power in the state,they should work like lionesses in their gospel of APC,noting that nobody will intimidate them
He exolled the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for always being passionate when it comes to women welfare as can be exemplified in the appointment of women in positions of trust. He once again described Senator Uzodimma as a man of conscience who God sent to deliver Imo at this critical point.
The pragmatic Mbaitoli APC Chairman noted that the Governor has been able to turn around the sorry state of infrastructures in the state positively despite the distractions by the oppositions and enemies of the state.
The leader of the women leaders and Mbaitoli APC woman leader,Hon Isabella Asinobi said that they were on the visit to pledge their unflinching support to the party, she decried the unwarranted neglect of the women folks by the party hierarchy and called for their more involvement.
The assistant woman leader of Mbaitoli APC, Hon Mrs Victoria Osuchukwu called on the women to be Obident to the party.
Lady Joy Ajoku, the welfare officer of the party in the LGA pleaded with the women to avoid gossips, backbitting and pull him down syndrome, she enjoined all the party faithfuls to embrace peace.
Other speakers advocated for door to door campaigns for the party and also called on the chairman to facilitate workshops and seminars for the women.
They passed a vote of confidence on Hon Chinonye Agogbuo led Mbaitoli APC executives.
Highpoint of the occasion was the distribution of wrappers and head ties purchased by Agogbuo to the women leaders.
The women also rendered melodious songs to show appreciation to Hon Chinonye Agogbuo for his great efforts in the pilot of the party in the LGA
