Mbaitoli APC New Media team inaugurated by Agogbuo
The proactive and pragmatic Mbaitoli Local Government Area All Progressives Congress Chairman, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo has inaugurated the new media team of the party in the LGA, the new media team is headed by the Publicity Secretary of the party in the LGA, Hon Ifeanyi Ejike and comprises of all the Publicity Secretaries in the 12 wards of Mbaitoli and other social media enthusiasts and influencers from the LGA.
Speaking at the brief portentous inauguration ceremony, Agogbuo noted that it has become paramount, momentous and highly critical that the party formed the team in order to drive the narrative in the social media spaces and decried the level of misuse,misapply and abuse the opposition in the state has used the social media in the state.
He urged the team members to see their selection as a call to serve and solicited that they make judicious use of their time in the committee to further equip themselves.
Agogbuo further read out a brief guidelines for the committee to use, it includes;
To shed more lights on the giant strides achievements of the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma, nothing that the Governor has a man that has good conscience and has done massively well in giving the infrastructures in the state a facelift, despite the plethora of distractions.
He also advised them to protect and promote the image of the party from the Ward to the National level on all social media channels.
Agogbuo said that all hands must be on deck to counter the negative reports, propaganda and cheap blackmail orchestrated by the opposition on the Senator Hope Uzodimma's administration.
He noted that the team must step up it's game in the promotion and marketing of all APC candidates in the forthcoming General Elections from the House of Assembly, House of Representatives,Senate and Presidential on all media channels, restating the fact that Mbaitoli as the largest LGA in the South East by numerical strength must be ready to deliver wholly.
Agogbuo enjoined the highly experienced team to always promote the activities and capture the achievements of the Governor of Imo State, the Mbaitoli SOLAD,the commissioners, Development Centers Coordinators, SAs and SSAs and other appointees of the Government of Mbaitoli extraction.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the committee and Mbaitoli APC Publicity Secretary, Hon Ifeanyi Ejike thanked the Chairman for being dynamic in thinking, he noted that Social Media gradually is becoming the main stream media and noted that the APC being the party in power in all strata of Government in Imo state can not afford to be found wanting in it, he accepted the responsibilities dished by the chairman and promised to work hand in gloves with his teammates for success.
Also Hon Soronnadi Emmanuel, Ozoemena Amarachukwu, Kenneth Obi, Dr Achubo Anthony,Joshua Chibuzor, Nlemedim Edwin, Chidi Philip amongst others in their individual submissions expressed delight at the timing of the composition of the committee, they highlighted some of the challenges faced and proposed Way forward.
They promised to contribute their various quota to the success of the objectives and aims in which they were inaugurated.
