Mbaitoli APC hosts Imo APC SWC on LGA tour, pledges on ensuring party's victory
In continuation of it's tour of the Local Government Area chapters of the All Progressives Congress APC by the Imo State APC working committee to ascertain the LGAs preparedness as the electioneering processes heats up. The Imo APC SWC led by Hon MacDonald Ebere PhD visited the Mbaitoli APC chapter on Tuesday.
Welcoming the august visitors on behalf of the ardent Leaders, Executives and mammoth Party faithfuls of Mbaitoli APC, the Chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo noted that Mbaitoli by it's numerical strength as the biggest LGA in the East of the Niger is ready to deliver wholly for APC in the elections next year.
He informed the State working Committee of efforts put in place that has translated to the peace and togetherness currently being enjoyed in the LGA.
He enumerated some of the benefits that Mbaitoli has enjoyed since the inspection of the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma, he noted that in terms of infrastructural facelift and appointments, the Governor has shown that he has Mbaitoli at heart and reassured him that Mbaitoli will not let him down.
He described Governor Uzodimma as Godsent to Imolites, he opined that despite the litany of problems and distractions mostly caused by the opposition,the Governor has performed beyond expectations.
Speaking,the Sole Administrator of Mbaitoli,Hon Chinaza Opara said that there is no opposition in the LGA, he assured the SWC that Mbaitoli is intact and will appreciate the party with their votes next year.
The Mbaitoli APC state Constituency Candidate in the 2023 election, Engr Innocent Ikpamezie solicited that Mbaitoli should be given special status in the sharing formula considering the numerical strength.
Speaking,the Imo State APC Chairman,Hon MacDonald Ebere PhD stated the reasons for the LGA tour, he said that among others,the tour will help the SWC be abreast with the true situation of things on ground in the LGAs. He enjoined the party faithfuls to continually be steadfast in their support to the administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Former Imo state APC Chairman Chief Macron Nlemigbo and Commissioner of Lands, Barr Kezie Ogaziechi commended the Mbaitoli APC Chairman, Hon Agogbuo for working tirelessly to position the party in the LGA. They enjoined all party faithfuls to support him in his quest to lead the party to victory.
Other Speakers were Mrs Telma Opara, Mr Soronady, Mr Fidel Ahanonu among others.
