Mbaitoli APC geared towards Grassroots Mobilization - Agogbuo
To ensure that the All Progressives Congress APC, Mbaitoli Local Government Area chapter, gets to the nook and cranny of the LGA in order to mobilize massively in preparation for the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo, Mbaitoli APC Chairman, over the weekend held a crucial stakeholders meeting with Mbaitoli President Generals, Women and Youth Leaders, LGA and Ward executives.
Hon Agoguo emphasized the need for every party faithfuls to take the message of APC to the grassroots,noting that Mbaitoli been the LGA with the biggest voters strength in Imo state can not afford to disappoint in the general elections. He reiterated the importance of taking advantage of the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Voter's Registration to get their Permanent Voter's card, saying that logistics to get party faithfuls to point of registration are currently been worked out with Leaders in the LGA.
He thanked the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for propelling Imo state to greatness with his numerous people oriented projects spread across the state, noting that with just a little over 2 years of the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Uzodimma, Imo state is now a construction site. He applauded Uzodimma for entrusting positions of trust to Mbaitoli sons and daughters, he opined that the Governor has serious interest in the LGA.
He said " I want to encourage us to go to the grassroots and mobilize for our great party, we are the party in government and we can't be intimidated, we must show capacity as the general elections draw nearer. PVC revalidation should be top of our priority now, I am in touch with the various leaders to see how we can get our people to register and revalidate. I thank you for all you are doing, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma has interest in Mbaitoli and we must not let him down".
"Governor Uzodimma as we can all bear witness is doing a lot to ensure that our state is an envy of all, we must support him wholeheartedly, Many of our sons and daughters are holding positions of trust in this administration and we must reciprocate this gesture by delivering bloc votes to our party".
Various speakers eulogized the wonderful work Hon Agogbuo is doing in the party in the LGA, especially, how he has brought peace in the party by bringing aggrieved and disgruntled members together. They described Agogbuo as a dynamic and visionary leader, who has shown capacity and promised to work together with him to move the party to great heights.
The highlight of the occasion was the passing of vote of confidence on Governor Hope Uzodimma.
