Mbaitoli APC finalizes plans for Polling unit visitation and re- energizing of grassroots support base
The ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Mbaitoli Local Government Area have put finishing touches to their planned polling unit tour and further sensitization of their grassroots support base in order to warm the party and get members battle ready to win the forthcoming General Elections from top to bottom.
Speaking at a strategic meeting compromising of the Leaders of the party, LGA executives and principal officers of the ward executives, the Chairman of APC in Mbaitoli, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo noted that the essence of the tour amongst other benefits is to interface directly with the booth executives who have kept faith with the party over time and to encourage them to continue the marvelous jobs they are doing.
Agogbuo noted that the party will ensure that the polling unit executives are card carrying members of APC and must have their Permanent Voter's Card PVCs.
He urged everyone present to take the exercise seriously and contribute their quota to the upliftment of the party.
He commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for approving the social health insurance scheme for Imo workers, noting that successive governments in the state neglected the Imo workers until the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Uzodimma came on board.
He assured the Governor of Mbaitoli APC continuous support considering the enormous support he has given to the party not just in the LGA but the state in general.
Various leaders and stakeholders commended the initiative of the polling units tour and pledged their support to the success of the program.
Some grey areas were also sorted out.
