Mbaitoli APC Chairman reiterates commitment in ensuring party's landslide victory
As Political parties in the country gear up to begin another round of rigorous campaign activities in preparation for the forthcoming 2023 General Elections immediately the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) lifts the current embargo on campaigns from the 28th of September 2022, leaders and members of Mbaitoli Local Government Area All Progressives Congress APC have been reassured of the Party's commitment in ensuring landslide victory in all elective positions.
This reassurance was made by the indefatigable Mbaitoli APC Chairman, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo when he hosted a mammoth gathering of the leadership of the party in the area.
He noted that the party is one to beat in the forthcoming elections going by the antecedence of all the candidates been paraded and ably aided by the people oriented projects ongoing in the state championed by the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Agogbuo warned against members playing anti Party activities in any disguise and noted that disciplinary actions will be taken on members found culpable, he charged the party faithfuls to be bold in marketing of all the party's candidates from the House of Assembly to the President,noting that Igbos can't afford to be left out in the Nigeria mainstream politics.
He appreciated Governor Uzodimma for having the utmost interest in Mbaitoli as evident in the appointment of distinguished sons and daughters of the LGA into positions of trust, he enumerated the various projects done by the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of the Governor that Mbaitoli is benefiting massively from.
Agogbuo further said "The Governor has greatly extended the hands of relationship to Mbaitoli people and we must reciprocate appreciating him as well as by supporting the government of APC and the party.
He used the opportunity to specifically thank the Governor for appointing another illustrious son of Mbaitoli as the commissioner in the house of Assembly service commission representing owerri zone.
Speaking,the Sole Administrator of Mbaitoli LGA, Hon Chinaza Opara challenged the party faithfuls to embrace the party more especially at this critical period of electioneering,he opined that APC is the only visible party in the LGA and said that the party can't afford to disappoint.
Commissioner of Lands, Hon Kaezie Ogazie marshalled out some salient points on how to position the party for victory and assured that more modalities will be provided as the days go by.
Commissioner of Environment,Pro Emma Duru spoke on mobilization and how to win election.
Mbaitoli House of Assembly candidate of APC in Mbaitoli LGA, Hon Innocent Ikpamezie enjoined the party members not to relent in their efforts in making APC victorious next year,he pleaded for unity and togetherness among members.
Some Party leaders that also made contributions were, Gen Chikwe, Mbaitoli East and South Development Centers Coordinators,Hon Ugonna Achuko and Hon Umezu Cognac, Chief D.M Agogbuo, Commissioner representing Owerri zone in Imo state House of Assembly Commission, Hon Hon ifeanyi Nnataraonye amongst others
