MBAIKE 2023: Don't Count your Chicks before they are Hatched- Group tells Hon Nwawuba

A Political group known as Beyond Political Party Initiative (BEPPI), has called on Hon Henry Nwawuba, The member representing the people of Mbaitolu and Ikeduru Federal Consistency in the National Assembly to know that the dynamics in the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the zone and indeed the state is changing and it might not be business as usual.

The group made this known in a statement signed by her convener, Mc Ken Onyema. and made available to Newsmen.

The full Statement below:

HON HENRY NWAWUBA AND PDP PARTY TICKET .

Don't Count Your Chicks Before They are Hatched ...

As party primaries draws near, I read with great reservations some of the braggings of Hon Henry Nwawuba's supporters about his assurance of PDP MBAIKE Federal House of Assembly ticket come 2023. These assertions wangles with so much impunity as though the party belongs to Hon Henry Nwawuba, and chooses what should and shouldn't be in the party.

However, recent political happenstance in the state suggests a lot of uncertainties which are bound to play out in few months going forward.

First was the widely celebrated reunion between Sen Rochas Okorocha's political family and Rt, Hon Emeka Ihedioha, followed by the APGA state chairman's open condemnation of the illegal arrest of Hon Uche Nwosu by the sitting governor, which happened to be the only party condemning such act of the governor.

Many PDP party chieftains has maintained that no one is entitled to the party's ticket, and nobody's interest is Superior to another.

Will Sen Samuel Anyanwu's interest be sacrificed at the altar of Hon Emeka Ihedioha's interest...? ? I doubt...

As the rumors that His Excellency Emeka Ihedioha may not likely run the governorship race come 2023 with PDP tickets continues to gather momentum, one begins to question the fate of those who already feels the have the party in their pockets.

In party politics and elections, it is never over until it's over...

While we continue to hope and pray for a better IMO, let us be conscious of the fact that an incompetent leader in a preferred political party can never bring the expected change we all crave for both in the state and various constituencies.
