MacDonald Ebere encourages Owerri West APC faithfuls to Uphold Party's Ideology
In a concerted effort geared towards maintaining party supremacy in all the wards in Owerri West LGA, the State Party Chairman of IMO APC, Hon. MacDonald Ebere, PhD, Yesterday the 15th of April, 2022 visited Emebiam/Okolochi Ward in Owerri West LGA to take stock of the membership strength of the party in the ward.
Convener of the meeting and LGA Party Chairman of Owerri West, Hon. Humphrey Umunnakwe thanked the State Party Chairman for finding time to visit the indigenous Ward of the Wife the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu . He added that Owerri West has totally collapsed for APC and so it is difficult to find an enclave where the opposition will lay claim.
Hon. Umunnakwe adviced the ward Leadership to ensure that there's strong party foothold in the ward, thereby preventing the opposition from creeping in from the outskirts of the Community, to gain undue advantage in the ward.
In a long and good spirited address, the State Party Chairman of IMO APC Hon. McDonald Ebere, PhD remarked with nostalgia how Emebiam was one of the Communities where he served as a Senior Seminarian during his days in the Seminary and how the experiences and blessings received during that period has shaped his life . He adviced Leaders of the ward to embibe the virtue of aggressive mobilization of members , uproot every seed of discord that detractors will want to sow in the ward, and do away with intimidation of party members .
He solicited for their continued support to the Government of Dist.Sen Hope Uzodimma, who through his antecedents has outclassed his predecessors . He advocated also for the termination of behaviors capable of causing chaos in the community, which will in turn batter the image of the Government of the day .
