Imo Stakeholders Meeting: It takes maturity with a tincture of humility to be a Leader

Brethren of the most High, 4th of January, 2022 will forever go down in history here in Imo state as the day for the first time in our lives a Leader had to put the interest of the people first before himself.

For the first time Since the regime of Late Sam Mbakwe, Imo state can boast of a Leader who's far more interested in the infrastructural development of the state , than the development of his private Quarters .

Dist.Sen. Hope Uzodimma also used yesterday to give elder statesmen of the State a reason to to be proud, as for once a serving Governor harkened to the voice of reason they laid on his table, rather making himself what the Igbos call "Eze Onye Agwalam".

I have always said that "He that wants to play opposition politics, must play it with common sense as it readily affordable", but as expected, these overgrown juveniles will never see a tactical reply to a general question even if the reply comes straight and close to their stench infested noses, no wonder they're called "Ndi Iberiberism", because ha wu ezigbote Ndi Iberibe.

To help them get the point and an answer to the question they've been dying to have an answer to, here's an excerpt of Governor Uzodimma's address yesterday “I have said it times without number I have no personal grouse with anybody. All of you who know me well in Imo state, I tried one time or the other to contest election. In some cases, I won. In some cases, I did not win. And when I didn't win, I left back for my businesses. When I won, I served the people with all my heart.

“I have many former Governors in Imo state, I have Governor Achike Udenwa, I have former Governor Ikedi Ohakim, Emeka Ihedioha and Okorocha as former Governors too.

“The difference between the other former Governors and Okorocha is that he is out of office but he still wants to be in office. Okorocha is a younger brother to me. I'm older than him, if not for anything, traditionally I deserve to be respected by him. I don't want to join issues with him. Let him just know that he is not the Governor and for the short period I will be here God-willing, he should allow me to be Governor.

From this excerpt, it is glaring that the only former Governor and state Leader giving us headache in this State is Rochas OKorocha and his cartel of Misfits, no wonder the popular parlance that says " The first person that complains of the foul stench of a discharged anal gas , is responsible for the discharge in the first place", best fits this scenario .

Imo State is known for peace, a safe haven and refuge where people who feel unsafe in other parts of the country run to and they're safe. A place where you go to Nda Letty's restaurant in the morning and devour good hot rice with out of this planet stew, and in the evening you look for the nearest Nkwobi joint and right there exhale the aching stress in your body, or if traveling to your village to eat that native soup you love so much is your desire, you do that without having to call anyone back to home to enquire if it's safe to return. Also, investors can come into the state and set up their businesses anywhere they like , without over labouring their brains on the issue bothering on crisis management...

Imo state is ours and will never ever be one man's private property. Whoever that knows and loves them, should tell them that !!! I rest my pen . But meanwhile, the Youthful State Chairman of the Largest Party in Black Africa Sir. MacDonald Ebere, PhD (IMO APC Chairman) was on ground at the expanded exco chambers, where the State Governor delivered his accountability address to Ndi Imo...
