A Socio Political Youth group known as Imo Progressives and Youth Ambassadors has congratulated the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma on the award of Sun newspaper Governor of the Year to him.
In a statement signed by the group President, Amb. Amuzie, Alpha and Amb. Nnadi, Ifeanyichukwu (Mayor), the Media Director, they noted that the award did not come as a surprise judging by the numerous dividends of Democracy provided by the 3R shared prosperity government of Senator Hope Uzodimma.

"Your Excellency, this award is to prove your great impact in good governance, which is visible in you pragmatic and dogged approach to ensuring Imo State is rehabilitated, reconstructed, and recovered. Your infrastructural revolution has revamped our once dying state into a hub of quality infrastructure. The rehabilitation of Owerri-Orlu and Owerri-Okigwe roads, the renovation 301 health centers amongst others, speak volumes of how passionate you are about leadership.
"Your zeal to put an end to Administrative impudence and corruption is second to non, and quite commendable. You have, through your 3R mantra recovered all that have been stolen by cankerworms, we placed at the helms of State affairs in the past. These and more qualifies you for this revered award.
