I will ensure equal rights for all Mbaitoli APC Groups - Agogbuo
In furtherance of his resolve to ensure that all affiliated groups of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, align to forge a formidable force and support to the party from the ward level up to the national level, The Chairman of APC in Mbaitoli LGA, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo has encouraged the Mbaitoli ward leaders of Hope Coordinators to ensure that the party's fortune are enhanced, especially as the activities for the 2023 general elections reaches top gear.
Agogbuo made this known when the ward leaders of Hope Coordinators paid him a visit at his office, He lauded the group for always being committed to the party and also to the leader of the party in the state, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Executive Governor of Imo state, who he described as a passionate, dynamic, Charismatic and an egalitarian person. He extolled Governor Uzodimma for his people oriented projects spread across the various parts of the state, noting that APC has come to stay in the state judging by the overwhelming victory recorded by the party in the just concluded Ngor-Okpala legislative bye election. He told the gathering that Uzodimma is one that rewards loyalty and honesty, assuring them that their case will be presented.
He urged them to always put the party first in all their dealings, He reassured them that all groups will be carried along in the development of the party, describing politics as a game of numbers. He challenged them to go on grassroots evangelism to win more members to the party.
He said "I want to specially thank you for your passion, zeal, commitment to our party and our leader, Senator Hope Uzodimma, he wants the best for Imolites, he is a man that is ready to stand firm on his words to ensure that evil is fought first hand in the state. We must support him to continue his wonderful works in the state, Imo state has never had it this good in terms of development and economic boom, We must not let the governor down.
"APC has come to stay in Imo state, Ngor-Okpala Legislative bye election is a case study of what is to come in the general elections, we must be ready, we must go on membership drive to bring people to the party. Grassroots mobilization is a job for everyone, our people must avail themselves of the opportunity to get their PVCs revalidated. We are the ruling party, hence, we can not be intimidated" He said.
Speaking, the Mbaitoli leader of the group, Hon Eddie Onyenobi, described Agogbuo as an impeccable and exemplary leader whose regime as Mbaitoli APC chairman has brought lasting peace in the party, noting that unlike in the past, Mbaitoli APC have one voice in unionism on issues now, he thanked the governor for finding the youthful, visionary and zestful person to make the LGA party Chairman.
Various speakers eulogized the achievements of the governor, while passing a vote of confidence on his 3R Shared Prosperity Administration, they also passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of the Party in the LGA. They pledged to give 100% support and votes to the party during the elections.
They also thanked Hon Agogbuo for giving everyone an Equal playing ground in the party, this they said has made it possible for so many persons to show interest to contest under the party.
