....Charges them to show greater commitment towards projecting to the public, the party's laid out plans and objectives.
Sate Party Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Imo State, Hon. MacDonald Ebere, PhD today engaged LGA and ward women leaders of the party in a consultative meeting. The essence of the meeting according to Hon. MacDonald is to charge and prepare the women for the campaigns since they form an integral part of the pre and post election process .
Sn his address, Hon. Ebere told the women that he has always considered them as special forces that can drive home the message of Shared Prosperity in their various matrimonial or paternal domains . He added that the entire 27 LGA women leaders and 305 ward women leaders will receive the necessary mobilization packages that'll cushion any burden they'll face in this campaign season as they're expected to embark on serious sensitization tours aimed at getting the hearts and minds of electorates who reside in their various localities.
Hon. MacDonald went further to say that the message of the 3R antecedents of Imo State Governor, Dist. Sen Hope Uzodimma is enough to serve as campaign nuggets that will yield total acceptance of APC's candidates, her mandates and programs, as the party has fielded capable candidates that will bring home dividends of democracy to their constituents if voted in to office .
He went further to unveil other special interventions for the women leaders of the party .
State Woman Leader of Imo APC, Hon. Mrs Nneoma Ndukwu thanked Hon. MacDonald for giving women a pride of place and recognition in the party. Mrs. Ndukwu on behalf of the women leaders promised continued support of the plans and progressive policies of the state party chairman, not forgetting total solidarity to the party's constitution. She went further to express confidence in Hon. Macdonald's ability to present to Imo State Governor some of the demands made by the women, and belief that those demands will receive immediate attention.
At the epilogue of the meeting, the women unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the state party chairman , with session of prayers held for him.
