Hon. Eric Uwakwe hosts kinsmen, promises to alleviate their sufferings
The Special Adviser (SA) to Imo state Governor on Youth Affairs, Hon. Eric Uwakwe hosted his kinsmen to a Christmas get together in his village. In his opening remarks, He expressed his gratitude to His Excellency, Dist. Sen Hope Uzodimma for the opportunity given to him to serve in his cabinet and thanked the people of his community for their support, loyalty and firm belief in the shared prosperity Government of Most. Dist. Senator Hope Uzodimma and promised them that Government will do more to alleviate their sufferings by empowering the less privileged and supporting their businesses financially in the incoming year.
He assured them of Government's determination to alleviate the sufferings of the masses and promised to set up a committee that will be in charge of updating them with Government policies, programmes and empowerment opportunities periodically so they can tap into these policies and programmes whenever the need arises.
Hon. Eric Uwakwe donated 100 bags of rice to his people and described the gift as a tip of the iceberg when compared to what he has in stock for them. In his words he stated and I quote: I bring you message of hope. What you're seeing today is a tip of iceberg when compared to what I have in stock for you people. When I look at your faces, I see lack, I see poverty but all these will come to an end soon. I am not asking God to bless me alone in this community rather I am praying for merry to go round so I can use the position I am occupying and what God has given me to be a blessing to my people.
The people of his kindred comprising of Umuonyekwere, Umuotito and Umuahuhu were full of thanks to the Special Adviser (SA) and prayed God to bless, promote and prosper him abundantly for remembering them.
