Imo State governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma sets to appoint the state elders council on Tuesday, 21st December, 2021 at the Sam Mbakwe extended excos Chamber.
The council is made up of 246 eminent sons and daughters of Imo State, who has distinguished themselves in services to the state. The council will be chaired by HRH Eze (Dr.) Cletus Illomanya and host of other distinguished Imolites which includes; his Excellency Achike Udenwa, his Excellency Ikedi Ohakim, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, his Excellency Eze Mmadumere and others.
It is seen that the administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma is detribalised in nature and understands that all hands must be on deck for Imo State development. It is also note worthy that, this is the first time a seating governor is extending hands of service to all Imolites irrespective of political inclination
