Engr DavidKK Chukwuonye becomes Ag. President of Orluzurume Youths, the Apex youth body in Orlu Zone. In a letter dated 15.12.2021, The President, Prince Arthur Madumere said he was taking a 17 days break in order to enable him prepare properly for the burial of his late mother.
In a Facebook post on his account, Engr. Chukwuonye called on the youths in Orlu zone to rally together to ensure that peace returns to the zone.
The Post reads thus:
First I want to appreciate God Almighty for today and specially Thank him for being faithful to us always.
I want appreciate My President Prince Arthur Madumere for temporary transferring power to me as President of Orluzurume Youths.
To Orlu Zone Youths I promise to preserve, protect , defend the core values; which is protecting the interest of Orlu zone sons and daughters at all course.
I urge all Youths of Orlu zone to give me the necessary support to carry out this great task now that Orlu zone is passing through difficult moments ranging from Insecurity, unemployment, poor infrastructure, bad roads etc.
To great stakeholders of Orluzurume Youths, I also urge you to give me the necessary advice and support required to pilot Orluzurume Youths to the next level during my tenure as president.
To my wonderful Executives I urge us to give me the necessary support that you have always given to me for us to move Orluzurume Youths to the forward.
I will not fail to make wide consultation from our leaders from Orlu zone for them to guide me well and render advise as elders, to Leaders from our zone who are not living up to expectations we will not fail to call them out for tell them , that they are doing well.
My assurance to the Orluzurume Youths that during my short tenure as President I will make impact and some contribution towards the growth and development of Orlu zone.
We are determined to make a difference Now.
