Don't be a tool to Destabilize the System- Agogbuo tells Mbaitoli APC Women.
All Progressives Congress APC, Mbaitoli Local Government Area women have been charged not to allow themselves to be used as a tool to wreck, destabilize, subvert or sabotage the existing structure of the party in the LGA, but, rather to be a focal point and a unifying factor where everyone will rally on.
This charged was made by the Mbaitoli APC Chairman, Hon. Chinonye Agogbuo, when the Mbaitoli APC LGA woman leader, Lady Hon. Isabella Asinobi, led APC Women Ward Leaders, Stakeholders and ex-officios on a courtesy call in his office to avail him of the outcome of the just concluded Progressive Women Conference held in Abuja last month.
Hon Agogbuo, opined that women have a huge role to play in politics as they are always coming out en masse on election days. He promised to give women opportunities in his capacity as the LGA party Chairman, noting that when Women lead, Great progress and successes abound.
While commending the Governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodimma for being a gender friendly Governor, Agogbuo also thanked him for ensuring that Imo state is returning to it's pride of place in the country. He specifically thanked the Governor for the recovery of properties from the past administrations and returning them back to their original owners, noting that History will be kind on Uzodimma for all he is doing for the state.
He said " We must support the Executive Governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodimma for turning Imo state to a construction site. For the first time, a Governor is recovering properties taken by past administrations and returning them to their rightful owners and not making money out of the properties. Our Governor is a 'He for She Governor' and he has demonstrated that by giving important positions to women.
" On my part, I will ensure that Women are carried along fully in the politics of Mbaitoli APC. Don't be used to destabilize the system. We must support the Governor for him to do more, Go and mobilize your fellow women in the rural communities for the party. My door is always open to welcome suggestions on ways to lift our party forward".
