A suit brought to a Federal High Court in Owerri challenging the suspension of seven members of Imo state House of Assembly has been struck out.
The case with suit number FHC/OW/CS/52/2021 was struck out by Justice Ada Onyetenu, who presided.
Kingdom Okere, counsel to the suspended lawmakers said , “I filled a motion of discontinuation of the matter. This is to enable my clients settle their differences in consonance with the House rules.”
Imoflash correspondence gathered that the lawmakers have decided to settle out of Court. It is expected that soonest normalcy will return to the Assembly.
