Christmas: Imo Speaker Celebrates with the Sick in Obowo

Imo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibeh, on Sunday, 26th December, 2012, practically went to the hospitals in Obowo Local Government Area, to celebrate Christmas with the patients (ndi ória) in the hospitals, including those that had surgery, those their bills were over #300,000 and more.

Moving from Chinonyerem hospital to Mercy Hospital Umulogho Obowo, The Speaker proceeded to Mc Lawrence Group Hospitals Umuariam Obowo, and others.

Receiving the payments, some of those Mr. Speaker paid their bills thanked him, for celebrating Christmas in such manner with them, some of them equally took some shots with him.

Some of the Patients include but not only, Victoria Natherniel (Ehume Obowo) - had a successful surgery since September, Mrs. Chinonye Uche from Umuosochie Obowo, Favour Alozie - Ehume Obowo, Wale Emmanuel, Mrs. Roseline, Ogechi Augustine - Isiala Mbano, and many others.

Painfully, one of the patients had stayed at one of the hospitals visited, for more than one year; after delivering a new baby through surgery, the woman was unable to pay, since 2020 till today before Mr. Speaker paid all the debts/bills.

In addition to the payments made by the Speaker, he went spiritual and prayed very well for some of the Patients, as the spirit led him.

Hon. Chief Dr. D.C Anosike, the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of Mc Lawrence Group Hospitals Umuariam Obowo, thanked Mr. Speaker for his kind gestures, especially for paying the bills of all his patients, both those discharged and those not discharged.

Dr. Chinonyerem, the Medical Director Chinonyerem Hospital, equally thanked Rt. Hon. Ibeh so much for his unquantifiable & unqualifiable gestures.

To the Almighty God Be The Glory for giving Imo State this type of Speaker (Uncommon cum Tutorial Speaker).
