Frontline Senatorial hopeful and the Okigwe Zone Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general elections, Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu (Ikeoha Okigwe) led other candidates of the party in Okigwe zone to a thank you visit to the PDP family of Ihitte Uboma.
Chie Emma Okewulonu while speaking thanked God Almighty for the gift of life and the successful conduct of our party primaries and equally thanked the national leadership of the PDP for the courage and commitment to democratic ideals that made them conduct the free and fairest party primaries in Imo State.
Ikeoha made it clear that the essence of the visit was to appreciate them for their unflinching support and partnership in the just concluded PDP primaries while urging members of PDP in Ihitte Uboma to be more proactive in the forthcoming general elections to ensure massive victory come 2023.
Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu encouraged members of the party to be bold and fearless, insisted party members should be vigilant during the day of the election and they should report any form of irregularities from other political parties while stressing that PDP will certainly be victorious in the forthcoming elections once party members are strong and determined in the struggle to reclaim the stolen mandate of PDP come 2023 and also assured Ndi Ihitte Uboma of his total allegiance and team work in the growth and development of Okigwe Zone.
Chief Sir Chidi Dike (PDP Okigwe Zonal Chairman), Rt Hon Jonas Okeke (PDP House of Representative Candidate Okigwe South) and couple of other leaders took turns to address the party faithful present.
