It became necessary that High Chief Buchi Oparaugo speaks to his teaming supporters, Constituency and to all lovers of genuine democracy.
This became necessary when his teaming supporters besieged his palatial Avu residence a few days ago. They came to sympathize with him as their leader for the impasse of May 2022 and to inquire about the future of their common aspiration.
He thanked them for taking their time to reach out to him and seized the moment to speak to them about the events of May 2022 which he said remains one of the most serious rape, insult and disgrace to democratic principles which was characterised by no delegate votes on the minute, hour and day of the said exercise.
I know you must be asking lots of questions as to what next because I have received uncountable number of calls on daily basis asking me about what next. So it is in tandem with my resolve to speak to all of you. I know you are hurt by this because of your solid support and loyalty. I appeal to you all to maintain same tempo as yours truly will never abandon you or do anything that can let you down.
The seat of Owerri Federal Constituency remains ours and together we shall take what belongs to us. We didnt trust the process of the delegate election as orchestrated by no elections eventually. I urge you to remain calm, prayerful and together we shall weed this poluted system of this endemic disease ravaging it.
