Apex Leadership of Owerri Municipal APC Holds her End of the Year Meeting in Grand Style
The Apex Leadership of Owerri Municipal APC , today at the home of the State Chairman of IMO APC , Hon. MacDonald Ebere resolved to increase the tempo of their drive to ensure that APC retains her superiority in the Nation's political hierarchy especially now one of theirs is the State Party Chairman. This decision was made as the Leadership had their end of the year meeting and get together , to mark the end of a successful year for the Owerri Municipal APC family .
State Chairman of IMO APC , Hon. MacDonald Ebere,PhD (GM , IMO ENTRACO) , stressed the need of ensuring that the opposition is not given undue advantage in the state especially now that the affairs of the party in the state have been handed over to him as state chairman.
He went further to say that the party owing largely to the election of new ward and LGA executives , is as expected prepared to seeing the continued and corrosive evangelization of the progress mantra of APC with LGA Chairman, Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim navigating the ship at the Municipal level .
Hon. MacDonald added that it is the responsibility of the Party's Apex Leadership to guide the executive and progressive members of the party into doing their best for the party , as that would also guarantee that the Shared Prosperity achievement of the Present state administration continues .
He used the opportunity of the meeting to ask for the understanding of those who perhaps felt aggrieved during the ward , LGA and even the state congress , asking that all affected should move above and beyond the events of the past and help to sustain the future of the party.
Speaking also in the meeting , APC Chairman of Owerri Municipal , Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim thanked God for a peaceful 2021 that saw the emergence of Hon. MacDonald Ebere as State Chairman of IMO APC. He added that this is the first time in the history of the party at the municipal level that a state party chairman of a ruling party is part and parcel of the Apex Leadership. He charged members of the Apex Leadership not to rest on their oars , as a lot is expected from them now more than ever especially in the new year which starts in few hours .
Hon. Onyekachi went further to add that the state Governor , Dist.sen . Hope Uzodinma has made APC a household name in the state and the emergence of Hon. MacDonald Ebere will add more life to the party through the plans he has for the party .
Leaders who lent their individual voices in the meeting in summary said from 1st January, 2022 , every committed member of the party is expected to show doggedness in projecting the party's ideology as it marks the start of the campaign season. They continued by saying that intense politicking will start next year and so no loophole is expected especially as LGA elections is expected to hold come March, 2022.
They were also in agreement that the emergence of Hon. MacDonald Ebere has wiped shame off the face of the average Owerri Man who during previous administrations suffered neglect and mental abuse from those saddled with the responsibility of leading them .
The meeting metamorphosed into a session of Joyous and thunderous cheers from members of the Apex Leadership as the State Party Chairman , Hon. MacDonald gave out Christmas and New Year packages to all the personalities present at the meeting. Prayers of Success and more upliftment rented the air , as members took turns to pray for the State Party Chairman.
Joining the State Party Chairman in the meeting is the Chief Economic Adviser to the State Governor , Prof. Kenneth Amaeshi.
